Project Overview: I designed and developed a compassionate, professional, and impact-focused website for Children of Prisoners Uganda, a registered charity supporting children affected by parental imprisonment. The goal was to create a clean, trustworthy, and emotionally resonant digital platform that effectively communicates the organization’s mission, impact, and ways for donors, volunteers, and partners to get involved.

Key Features Delivered:

  • Clean and empathetic design aligned with a charity focused on vulnerable children
  • Clear storytelling of the organization’s mission and founder’s journey
  • Prominent impact statistics (children supported, families reached, children waiting)
  • Dedicated sections for key programs:
    • Education & School Support
    • Psycho-social Counselling
    • Family Visits & Prison Reunions
    • Skills Development & Empowerment
  • Donation, Volunteer, and Partnership calls-to-action
  • Blog/News section for updates and stories
  • Contact and inquiry forms
  • Fully responsive and mobile-friendly design

Objective Achieved: The new website helps Children of Prisoners Uganda build credibility, raise awareness, and attract support from donors, volunteers, and partners. It clearly communicates the challenges faced by children of incarcerated parents and makes it easy for people to take action — whether through donations, volunteering, or partnerships.
